She's a mix of Chihuahua and Rat-Terrier (we think)...she was rescued from a shelter in New York. She was born as "Fiddle", and has a sister named "Faddle", but we re-named her to Bella...they were both born by emergency c-section, and only Fiddle and Faddle survived. Bella now lives among the 3 cats, who seem to be tolerating the new family member better than expected ;-)

WOW! The SummerSmash 2008was great! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came and enjoyed...
Another THANK YOU to all who brought something! We had great weather, and even better company!
On Sunday May 18, we went to Dorney Park for Maddy's Girl Scout Day...Although it rained, and we got soaked, we did get to go on a few rides, as seen below during the Steel Force ride....;-)

So....Brandon cuts the grass (nice job by the way), then for his final performance, he lets the self powered mower crawl diagonally across the front yard. He didn't seem to realize the "path" he embedded into the lawn.
So after I told him about it, he claimed it shouldn't matter - and although you could plainly see the path, Brandon somehow could not....so a few months later I came across the satellite image of our house, which clearly shows his creative "path"....it was certainly good for a chuckle!

Let me count my blessings! First, there's Jenn - who let me upgrade my truck to something that will tow our boat with greater ease...then there's:
5.7L Hemi V-8 Engine Chrome, Chrome everywhere 20" Wheels...ahhhhhh and then of course, there's the 150 decibel horns - certainly a favorite pastime...

What a great family get-together we had this past weekend! We all met at a photo studio, updated our family pictures, and went back to our house to stuff our faces and share stories and current events in our families lives!
What a fun time!
Please take a minute and see all the pictures that we took at the studio! You can find them all here or go to our pictures page!
Enjoy, and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Well, we all know Aunt Beth is a true comedian - but this video proves it.
There's charm, wit, laughter, and of course, Aunt Beth....;-)

We have a secret agent in our midst! Well, maybe not "secret" per se, but an agent indeed!
Jenn now has her license to sell real estate! She's worked really hard the past several months with her nose in the books, and taking tests. She's finally reached the end of the tunnel, and is now working for Weichert Real Estate! So as your buying and selling needs arise, keep Jenn in mind! There is no better agent out there!
Everything else is going well. Last nights' frost brought the winters realization into focus! We're getting ready for halloween, bringing in lawn furniture, and getting the pellet stove ready for another season. The summer goes far to quickly, and the winter, far too slowly. In any case, feel free to invite yourselves over for a drink and a hot tub. (Which by the way, is really fun in the cold weather).
Don't be a stranger (yes, you - I'm talking to you)! Drop us a line, let's get together!

Well... it seems that the end of summer is really here :( We have packed away all the lawn furniture and taken the plants indoors.... so now it looks rather barren outside. Our pool will be closed on Wed. the 3rd.
Maddy is LOVING kindergarten and brings home a ton of artwork and school work on a regular basis! She is making friends and even enjoys taking the school bus! She has started the Daisy's (the pre-cursor to Brownies) and is delighted that she has friends from school there!
Brandon continues to fine tune and develop his guitar skills... he is truly gifted and quite amazing to listen to! We have a few months left before you will all need to clear the roads!!!! He turns 16 in January and will be eligible for his driving permit! WOW!!!!

Finally! My status has been raised to "cool"....ok, maybe just "kinda niffty"....fine, that's arguable, but I certainly feel special! I got my iPhone!
Yes, it was a struggle getting out of the Verizon contract, but at least we had a legit complaint. Now with AT&T, the closest antenna is less than 1 mile away - signal strength is ALL BARS!
Would I do it again you ask? Do I regret it? Heck no...we are now paying about the same price as Verizon for the same minutes, and we now get rollover minutes, with the text messaging built into the plan for all the phones. Unlimited wireless data helped the decision too ;-)
Now, on to other happenings...we made another boat run this past weekend - just me and Brando, and two of his buddies Mark and Matt. Man, did we have some tubing fun! The air was quite chilly (about 60 degrees) but the water was still very warm. The boys tubed for a few hours, until they could no longer feel their fingers from holding on! We had a blast.
The boating season is coming to an end :-( Brandon is already talking about next summer! I can't wait either! It was a great season! Speaking of seasons, the swimming is over too - the pool is ice cold - and is being closed on Oct 3rd. Oh well, at least we have the hot tub to get us through the winter! ;-)

Hmmm....the latest big dilema - do I get an iPhone, or wait for the iPhone 2?
Normally, I'm an Apple hater - Mac you say? BLAH! But I was in an AT&T store the other day, and I had to play with one. I must say, it is slick...very slick...no, it's not perfect. But man, is it slick!.... And, since I'm inherently impulsive, it's only with great resistance that I don't have one yet. Not to mention that we currently have Verizon.
We only have 4 months left on our Verizon contract. You'd think they'd just let us out of the contract, not too mention the poor reception we get since we've moved. But noooooo... They want their $175 termination fee (per phone). HAH! I think not.
More on the iPhone dilema later...currently Verizon is researching our reception problem. I'm 100% certain they will come back and say, there is no problem.
That is when I will have to give cellswapper.com a try!
Ahhh Technology - what would I do without it?

Finally had a chance to upload the pictures from the Shindig in July. Special THANK YOU to Dave S (the other Dave) for taking the photos. You can see all of the photos in the pictures area, or just click here.
Another big thanks to everyone who brought something to eat! Wow, and did we eat! See you in 2008!!!

Another day on the lake - although it was really windy, we still had a great time swimming in the cove. And look! We saw two cute little river otters!!!

So much going on! Maddy has been growing peppers and tomatoes in the garden! She's so proud of these veggies!!! See below as she allows the inspectors a quick quality assurance check.
We've been doing as much boating as the weather allows. The wakeboard has now been broken in, and our tube is in for repairs ;-)

We have finally updated the site! YEAH!
Life is settling down to a dull roar... Madalyn finished her lst day of pre-school last week and will be spending the remainder of the summer home until kindergarten begins on August 29th.
Brandon has been away on vacation to Disney with friends and will return later this week. The house has been eerily quiet without him and we have missed him! Can't wait for him to get home!
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Hi All,
I know it's been a long time since we've updated our website - sorry. Between moving, and getting some of our house projects done, it's been quite busy. But finally, I found some time to change some things on our site. I removed the voting area, and the games. The newsletter signup was removed too, since our homepage here is now "blog-like" which should have anything new in our lives posted online.
There are new pictures of our recent trip to Cat Island, Bahamas (in the pictures area, under MEDIA). So enjoy! Be sure to drop us a line.
